Cue playback
for the IP plant

A playback server that speaks NDI, SDI, SMPTE ST 2110, SRT and RTMP, takes other machines' feeds in as cues, and answers the control protocols your gallery already uses.

The programme going out as an NDI source while it records, then another machine's NDI graphics taken in as a cue. Recorded from Deckboy 0.99.397. Music: YMCK, used with permission · vertical version

NDI sources, SRT, RTMP, RTSP and UDP feeds, and DeckLink capture are cues like a clip: same transport, same transitions, same effects, same remote control.

Live picture and programme levels

Keying, grading and picture effects apply immediately on playing or paused cues, without another TAKE. Seventeen transition styles keep each cue's geometry and processed look, including its layer corner pins.

Programme metering shows momentary, short-term and integrated LUFS and true peak, with a true-peak guard on the mixed output. File normalization offers −16, −23 (EBU R128) and −24 LUFS targets before playout. Live-input audio follows each output's routing into recordings and network delivery.

Graphics over a PQ or HLG feed

On Windows, take an HDR stream cue, layer graphics over it at 203-nit reference white, and send the result as PQ or HLG over ST 2110, SRT or enhanced RTMP, while recording. The feed-and-graphic path was measured at 1080p60 and 2160p60 on an RTX 4070. HDR input on macOS and Linux currently converts to SDR. NDI and Web Monitor remain SDR; DeckLink HDR is implemented but still awaits physical-card validation. Signal formats, platform limits and receiver requirements →

Check the programme with waveform, parades, vectorscope, histogram and gamut measurements. HDR scopes read in nits; SDI and ST 2110 scopes can read the encoded 4:2:2 signal. Scopes follow each new source picture and show the measured rate in the footer. Output mode selection keeps whole-number and fractional refresh rates distinct. Each output also has its own raster-sized test card.
